Tights are not required but please no loose pants since the instructor needs to see your leg lines. Leggings, fitted joggers (or jazz pants), even shorts are great alternatives to tights. Also, any coloured sweatshirts/sweaters/pants (if wearing shorts) are ok at the beginning of class once warm up is done. If you wish to keep something on, it should be black or dark neutral and as form fitting as possible.

• If your child currently has shoes that still fit, but don’t exactly match up – that’s ok (Only applicable if the STYLE of shoe matches ie. slip on, tie ups, Mary Janes). Dance shoes are expensive and we want you to get good use out of them. As long as you have the proper colour and style by the end of the year, that works for us. (Assuming we will have a recital – so hold on this purchase until we know more)
• Listen to the person fitting you! You want the shoes to feel snug to your foot. The leather will stretch with wear!
• Last class of every month, dance students can show off their favourite colourful pieces!  (no logo’s please).
