ENCORE – Musical Theatre for Seniors
Do you love to sing? This NEW and exciting program, a vibrant musical theatre choir designed especially for adults aged 55+! Whether you’re a seasoned performer or just love to sing, this fun-filled program offers a welcoming space to explore your passion for musical theatre. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, you’ll get to sing your favourite show tunes, learn harmonies, and be part of a supportive community that celebrates the joy of music. No auditions are required — just bring your enthusiasm and love for the stage. Experience the thrill of performing and make new friends along the way in this exciting, uplifting program!
Term 1 runs from September to December featuring choir arrangements of songs from the Musical Theatre genre. Term 1 culminates in a fun public choral concert at a theatre.

After a 30+ year career in Human Resources and Change Management, Maureen continues to find ways to be productive and give back to her community. Whether this is being Marquee’s Treasurer for the past 3 years, helping out backstage or finally making her stage debut in 2023. Maureen is also on the Aurora Food Pantry Board of Directors, belongs to local choirs, loves to workout and spend time with her family.
