Accessible Youth Programming: We believe every child should have the opportunity to participate in the arts, regardless of financial barriers. Fundraising helps us offer subsidies and scholarships to families in need.
Professional Training & Facilities: From costumes to set designs to expert instructors, our programs are designed to provide a professional and inspiring experience for all participants.
Community Impact: Beyond teaching performance skills, we’re building confidence, fostering friendships, and creating memories for youth, adults, and seniors in our region.
Growing Opportunities: To meet increasing demand, we are expanding programs to schools, senior centers, and daytime options.

Fundraising ensures that we can continue to inspire, educate, and provide opportunities for the community while keeping our programs affordable and accessible. Your support makes this possible—whether by attending our performances, participating in events, or donating directly.

    We are also looking for volunteers to participate on our fundraising committee.

      Marquee’s Fundraising Committee Duties

      The Fundraising Committee plays a vital role in ensuring Marquee Theatrical Productions has the resources needed to sustain and expand its programs. The committee’s responsibilities include:

      1. Planning and Strategy Development

      • Design and implement an annual fundraising strategy aligned with Marquee’s goals and priorities.
      • Identify fundraising opportunities such as events, grants, sponsorships, and donor campaigns.
      • Set clear financial goals and track progress throughout the year.

      2. Organizing Fundraising Events

      • Coordinate and execute events like galas, silent auctions, and community fundraisers.
      • Plan event logistics, secure venues, and manage budgets.
      • Work with volunteers to ensure events run smoothly and are engaging for attendees.

      3. Building Community Partnerships

      • Cultivate relationships with local businesses, sponsors, and donors to secure financial support or in-kind contributions.
      • Create sponsorship packages that highlight the benefits of partnering with Marquee.
      • Maintain regular communication with partners and sponsors to nurture long-term relationships.

      4. Promoting Donor Engagement

      • Develop initiatives to encourage one-time and recurring donations.
      • Create donor recognition programs to show appreciation, such as thank-you notes, shout-outs, or exclusive event invitations.
      • Share success stories to demonstrate how donations directly benefit the community.

      5. Marketing and Communications

      • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote fundraising efforts through social media, newsletters, and other channels.
      • Develop messaging that inspires community support and highlights the importance of Marquee’s programs.
      • Send thank you cards to all donors

      6. Volunteer Coordination

      • Recruit and train volunteers to assist with fundraising efforts.
      • Ensure volunteers are equipped to support events and campaigns effectively.
